Daman Ganga River originates from the Sahyadri hills, flows through Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and is in proximity to Silvassa.

The project is located in the Union Territory of DNH on the borders of Gujarat and Maharashtra.

The riverbed comprises exposed basalt rocks. Rocky bed and low green cover make the river less accessible.
There is a reserved forest on the opposite bank of the river.
The surrounding developments include a couple of resorts, a crematorium, proposed Circuit House, and a temple along the river.

The master plan had layers of pedestrian and vehicular movement, landscape, water access, and activity spaces.

The site was divided into 3 zones based on character and activities.

Three levels of design were proposed to accommodate water level changes.

Various public activities were proposed to activate new development.
