Makhel Heritage Park sits amidst mountains at Makhel village near Nagaland border. The site is often used for cultural activities by the people residing in nearby villages. The main structure here, the Museum, will house historic artefacts related to WWII (for which Manipur was a battleground) and tribal heritage as well as Monoliths commemorating key local figures.

The design consists of prefabricated building units with quick civil construction aiding in completion of the project within given time period of three months. The program for the Heritage Park includes Amphitheatre, Museum, Residences and Café. The project will contribute to increase the communication between surrounding villages and visitors.
