DPC was commissioned by Mangalore Urban Development Authority for the critical evaluation of the Master Plan 2021 (Revision-II) proposal.

The project aims to understand the problems through the eyes of the stakeholders and its residents. A public participation was formulated and assessed based on a survey completed by 1000 residents. The survey was prepared to help understand the awareness among the people with regards to the city plan. It helped in identifying the lacunae in the process of the development plan preparation from the perspective of its citizens. Revision to the city’s Plan was proposed based on the insights gained, combined with technical evaluation of Master Plan.
