Ramala Lake located in the heart of the city is bordered by the city wall on the north eastern corner. The project has been conceptualized for lake conservation, environmental up-gradation and destination development. A holistic framework has been formulated integrating environment, heritage conservation, destination development and public infrastructure concerns. The conservation aspects of the project include engineering solutions for strengthening the wall edges and provision for proper sewerage system around the lake, and destination development include tourism infrastructure and provision of way side amenities.
